Ultimate Daintree in a Day

Mossman Gorge Adventure Day
Beginning the day at a secret location on the Mossman River, kick off your day with a River Drift Experience on the Mossman River. Walk, float, and swim through lush rainforest, immersing yourself in the pristine waters and tropical surroundings. As you walk upstream along the shallow riverbed, your guide will share insights about the diverse flora and fauna surrounding you. This guided trek provides an intimate look at the rainforest, blending easy-paced exploration with valuable ecological insights. After a well earned lunch, enjoy a traditional Welcome to Country led by a Kuku Yalanji guide, the traditional custodians of Mossman Gorge. Participate in a smoke ceremony, learn about ancient customs, and discover native plants and their traditional uses. Connecting you deeply to the land and its rich heritage. The afternoon is spent exploring the Daintree National Park at an easy pace, this interpretive 1.5hr walk, will leave you with a deeper understanding of this breath-taking rainforest. With an optional refreshing dip in the gorge itself.

Skyrail and Scenic Railway to Kuranda
Experience Kuranda Scenic Railway from Cairns or Freshwater railway station to Kuranda and visit the Rainforestation Nature Park for an Army Duck tour, visit the Koala and Wildlife Park and be immersed in the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience.
