Fish’n Fins Palau, founded in 1972 is Palau’s Premium Dive & Adventure Operator. The group includes Fish ’n Fins PADI 5 Star IDC & Diving Center; the Ocean Hunter Liveaboards; FNF Rock Island Kayaking Tours and Off-Road Jungle Tours, and the on-site Barracuda Café & Restaurant.

Fish and Fins offer daily dive trips to famous dive sites, World War II wrecks, and Jellyfish Lake in comfortable and fast boats with cushioned seats and dry compartments.

The local and international staff speak many languages from English Dutch Spanish Italian Hebrew Japanese Russian Chinese and French.

The PADI Five Star IDC Centre offers all courses and specialities from intro-dives to PADI Scuba Instructor. The technical dive centre offers a full-service for CCR and tri-mix divers and Nitrox is free.

The Fish‘n Fins pro shop has a complete range of dive gear for sale including clothing, souvenirs and a scuba gear repair shop.

Fish and Fins also has the Barracuda Bar and Restaurant conveniently located on-site facing the rock islands. A Mediterranean cuisine including the local fresh fish and seafood is served.

Fish‘n Fins also offers a big selection of day trips and overnight tours to the rock islands with local naturalists including kayaking and outrigger canoe trips.

The off-road Jungle Tours takes you on an extreme driving expedition to explore the pristine rainforest, rivers and waterfalls, World War II wrecks and abandoned villages and stone pathways. Participants of all ages are welcome, but an international driving licence is required.

The best way to organise a trip to Palau is to package your diving with one of the many partner hotels on offer. You will then have free transportation to and from the dive shop each day – whether by car or by boat picking up from the resort’s jetty directly.

This way, you will have a package that includes transfer from/to International Airport Koror, Breakfast at the chosen hotel/resort, Bento Lunch & Water on the boat on Dive Days, Air and/or Nitrox certified divers, Weights, Weight Belt, Boat, Dive Guide and Transfers from/to your Hotel/Resort.

You can then choose to add third tank dives, night dives, Mandarin Fish dives and special dives as Spawning dives which can be booked locally with FNF personnel, front desk or reservations.

WiFi is free of charge at Fish and Fins 5 Star IDC Dive & Adventure Center and Barracuda Restaurant, and most partner accommodations.

After a long day on and in the water, enjoy a drink at the bar followed by dinner at the Barracuda Restaurant, and you’ll even get a free lift back to your hotel.

Palau Royal Resort is a 4-star resort with spacious and well appointed rooms each with a balcony overlooking the peaceful ocean, gardens or surrounding harbour scene. The resort is located in Malakal and is a few minutes drive, or 30 minutes walk, to the Fish ‘n Fins Dive Shop. This resort features a pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, private beach, and a restaurant offering Western and Asian cuisine.

On your first day with Fish’n Fins your pick up will be 7:30 am from your chosen hotel/resort to allow ample time for check-in and sorting out your equipment. If you have checked in the previous day, your pick up will be at 8:00 am from your hotel/resort.

If you are staying at the Palau Pacific Resort, or the Palau Royal Resort, your daily pick up will be from the resort dock around 8:45 am; your drop off after diving will be at the resort pier too.

For each day of your dive package, you simply put your name up against the dive trip you want. There are boats going to most of the iconic sites each day, obviously depending on conditions.

Each trip includes two dives separated by a surface interval of at least an hour in a sheltered spot which usually also allows for a snorkel; a Bento Lunch & Water on the boat, and there will be an option for a third tank, or a trip to Jelly Fish Lake or Chandelier Cave.

The day ends around 4-5pm with a drop off at your hotel wharf, or at the dive centre, where there is an equipment room where you can store your dive equipment for the duration of your dive package.

Scuba Diving in Peleliu

If you want to enjoy a Peleliu Dive & Tour Trip, you simply put your name up on the list for a particular day, and when the list has a minimum of 10 divers, it’s guaranteed to run.

Included are 2 tanks as usual, but the extra cost for fuel costs US$ 30.00/per person; additional Peleliu State Permit costs US$ 30.00 plus US$ 3.00 administration fee; an optional Peleliu Land Tour costs US$ 75.00/per person; and a third tank can be purchased at the usual rate.

Good to Know

Every person visiting the Rock Island area and/or Jellyfish Lake must have a Koror State Permit.

The Rock Island Koror State Permit allows the holder into the Rock Island Area for scuba diving, snorkeling & adventure. It is valid for 10 days and costs US$ 50.00.

The Rock Island & Jellyfish Lake Koror State Permit allows the holder into the Rock Island Area and Jellyfish Lake for scuba diving, snorkeling & adventure. It is valid for 10 days and costs US$ 100.00.

Owners of a Rock Island Koror State Permit who decide to upgrade to a Jellyfish Lake license have to pay US$ 75.00 plus administration fee on top of their license to visit as well Jellyfish Lake.
