Sam’s Tours PADI Five Star Dive Centre offers all courses and specialities from intro-dives to PADI Scuba Instructor. As an authorised Scubapro & Aqua Lung Sales & Service Centre you can both get yourself kitted out or get your kit serviced or repaired whilst you’re there. Sam’s Tours Palau shop also sells a range of clothing and souvenirs.

Sam’s Tours Palau also offers a big selection of day trips to the rock islands including kayaking and land-based trips.

The best way to organise your dive trip to Palau is to package your diving with Sam’s Tours with one of the many partner hotels on offer. You will then have free transportation to and from the dive shop each day – whether by car or by boat picking up from the resort’s jetty directly. You will also have a package that includes transfer from/to International Airport Koror, Breakfast at the chosen hotel/resort, Bento Lunch & Water on the boat on Dive Days, Air and/or Nitrox certified divers, Weights, Weight Belt, Boat, Dive Guide and Transfers from/to your Hotel/Resort.

Palau Royal Resort is a 4-star resort with spacious and well appointed rooms each with a balcony overlooking the peaceful ocean, gardens or surrounding harbour scene. The resort is located in Malakal and is a few minutes drive, or 30 minutes walk, to the Fish ‘n Fins Dive Shop. This resort features a pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, private beach, and a restaurant offering Western and Asian cuisine.

Sam’s Tours provides a complimentary roundtrip shuttle service to all Koror based partner hotels.

At the beginning of the week, you can simply put your name up against the dive trips you want for that week. There are boats going to most of the iconic sites each day, obviously depending on conditions.

Each trip includes two dives separated by a surface interval of at least an hour in a sheltered spot which usually also allows for a snorkel; a Bento Lunch & Water on the boat, and there will be an option for a third tank or a trip to Jelly Fish Lake or Chandelier Cave.

At the end of the day, there are different wash down tubs for each type of gear, and an equipment room where you can store your dive equipment for the duration of your dive package.

Scuba Diving in Peleliu

If you want to enjoy a Peleliu Dive & Tour Trip, you simply put your name up on the list for a particular day, and when the list has a minimum of 10 divers, it’s guaranteed to run. Note that additional charges apply, plus a Peleliu State Permit costs US$ 30.00.

Good to Know

Every person visiting the Rock Island area and/or Jellyfish Lake must have a Koror State Permit.

The Rock Island Koror State Permit allows the holder into the Rock Island Area for scuba diving, snorkeling & adventure. It is valid for 10 days and costs US$ 50.00 plus US$ 3.00 administration fee.

The Rock Island & Jellyfish Lake Koror State Permit allows the holder into the Rock Island Area and Jellyfish Lake for scuba diving, snorkeling & adventure. It is valid for 10 days and costs US$ 100.00 plus US$ 6.00 administration fee.

Owners of a Rock Island Koror State Permit who decide to upgrade to a Jellyfish Lake license have to pay US$ 75.00 plus administration fee on top of their license to visit as well Jellyfish Lake.
