Each trip includes activities that cover a wide range of learning experiences, from fish identification and animal behaviour to marine ecosystems and conservation.

Koh Tao, Thailand – Conservation Workshop Week

This week-long conservation workshop introduces students to the basics of marine ecology and conservation through a combination of classroom sessions and hands-on diving activities.

Students will explore various aspects of the marine ecosystem, including fish, invertebrates, coral, and marine debris, and learn how these elements are interconnected. By the end of the week, they will have gained practical skills in conducting ecological surveys, learned about the impact of marine plastics, and developed an understanding of the critical roles that species such as sharks and turtles play in the ecosystem.

The 7-night program includes 5 dive days including a dive against debris, microplastic survey, beach cleanup and craft session.

Manado & Bangka, North Sulawesi, Indonesia – Culture and biodiversity

This itinerary focuses on the rich biodiversity in the region and includes educational presentations on both marine life and conservation efforts led by the resorts in Manado and on Bangka Island, with a chance to get hands on with a coral nursery and restoration site. Cultural elements include a village tour, and visits to Tangkoko National Park and Minihasa Highlands.

The 7-night program includes 6 dive days, daily educational sessions and participation in the coral restoration program.

North Bali – Coral Restoration & Marine Plastic Program

This specially designed educational itinerary has a focus on coral reef rehabilitation and marine plastics. The educational modules include Scientific Trial Active Reef Rehabilitation (STARR) training, learning about marine debris impacts, harvesting and transplanting nursery corals, coral health measurement, fish surveys and a session learning about the resort’s Shruder plastic recycling program.

The 7-night program includes 5 dive days, daily educational sessions in and out of the water and a plastic recycling workshop.

1770, Queensland – Great Barrier Reef Habitats

This immersive program offers students an unforgettable journey through the Southern Great Barrier Reef’s unique ecosystems. Tailored to each group’s needs, the itinerary combines diving, snorkelling, reef data collection, cultural experiences, and environmental stewardship, transforming students into active reef explorers while connecting science, history, and adventure. Students will learn coral and marine diversity monitoring techniques, learn about invasive species such as crown of thorns sea stars and Drupella snails and the impact of human activity on the Reef.

The 7-night program includes 5 snorkel or dive days, daily educational workshops and practical underwater sessions, visiting Lady Musgrave Island and Llewellyn Reef.

Atlantis Resorts, Philippines – Marine Ecosystems Education

This experiential learning program combines land-based learning and underwater observation to introduce coastal ecosystems to students. Students will learn about various marine ecosystems, their importance, threats, actions that can be taken, and the principles of citizen science reef surveys. They will also learn how to identify fish using the ‘Form Follows Function’ approach and discover the world of algae, seagrass and zooplankton using their very own Foldscope.

The 7-night program includes 5 dive days with a mix of dive skills sessions, fun dives and eco dives.

These itineraries are samples – all our school trips are curated to suit your specific brief; your educational requirements, the age and diving abilities of your school group. Group trips can also include dive training and certification if required.
