The Sea Serpent liveaboard is part of the Sea Serpent Liveaboard Fleet with a variety of dive itineraries in the Red Sea. Based on the award-winning Benetti design, and combined with the Sea Serpent fleets long Red Sea experience, the M/Y Sea Serpent liveaboard offers stability and comfort on its 7-night trips from Hurghada and Port Ghalib, to all of the best dive sites in the Red Sea.

The main deck contains a large saloon, which is equipped with a wide selection of entertainment technology. The lounge is separated from the dining room (where they serve delicious western food). Relaxation and sunbathing are accommodated by two spacious partially shaded sundecks. The convenient layout of the dive deck will satisfy even the most demanding divers.

The map in the Dive Sites tab on the main Egypt & Red Sea page shows most of the best sites visited by liveaboards in the Red Sea.

The liveaboards of the Sea Serpent Fleet operate from the two ports Hurghada (HRG) and Marsa Alam/Port Ghalib (PG). Return transfers from the airport are provided to the liveaboard’s location at a Red Seaport. At the airport, a representative will be waiting for you with a sign indicating the name of the boat you have booked. They can also provide Meet & Assist services inside the terminal, including entry visa upon request.

Check-in and Out:

Check-in is not before 5 pm on the first day of the trip and check-out is latest by 10 am on the last day of the trip. The first night of the trip is spent on-board at the port, last night of the trip is spent on-board at the port or in a 4 Star hotel, according to the boat’s schedule. The last dive of the trip is around noon of the penultimate day of the trip, with the boat arriving in port boat that afternoon.

M/Y Sea Serpent has a modern, light and airy décor which enhances the spaciousness of its generous layout. Onboard are one suite, one double cabin and 9 twin cabins, each with its own private bathroom with showers, individually controlled air conditioning and even a minibar.

Dive Service

Three to four dives are offered daily and conducted mostly by the dinghies. Nitrox is available free for Nitrox certified divers. Tanks are standard 12L aluminum tanks with INT, but DIN are also available. 15L tanks can be pre-booked for an additional charge. Rental gear is available and there is support for Rebreather Divers. A variety of dive courses are also offered.

Dive areas

The M/Y Grand Sea Serpent Liveaboard is one of the Sea Serpent liveaboard fleet along with its sister ships: Contessa Mai, Dreams, Miss Nouran and the Sea Serpent. Some of the liveaboards does each of the different Red Sea dive itineraries they offer in rotation. The different dive areas are listed on the Destination page with a map.
