Koh Tachai is a dome shaped rock surrounded by smaller scattered boulders. There are small coral heads with hard and soft corals and another smaller pinnacle close by. The dive site known as the Reef is more sheltered and has large flat horizontal rock surfaces with gullies between. This video shows some scene from the Reef – just before fish bedtime (around dusk), and on the main Pinnacle during the day. These White Collared Butterflies riding the surge were certainly a feature of the area.
