Hideaway Island Resort, House Reef, Port Vila

Site Overview
Dive Centres
Site Type: Reef
Depth: Top: 5M Median: 12M Bottom: 18M
Location: The House Reef is about a 3 minute boat ride from the jetty.

Hideaway Island House Reef provides introductory diving and snorkelling right off the beach in front of the resort. The reef extends some considerable distance shelving gradually away from the island (obviously!) It has an amazing diversity of marine life including some of the bigger stuff like morays and sweetlips, and the colourful striped surgeons. It also makes for a great night dive.

Here is what we saw on the ‘house reef’. Video version first…

… and then the pics.
